Bottles mint and empty are generally often worth (according to Bud Hastin- in the Avon encyclopedia days) the amount they sold for originally new. Of course your mileage may vary, we have little personal experience with bottles since we only sold online, and of course shipping low cost/high weight items was not something we considered practical.
I understand they do much better as an impulse item in local flea markets/collectibles shops etc, and men's cologne bottles were among the more popular bottles.
