Bottles mint and empty are generally often worth (according to Bud Hastin- in the Avon encyclopedia days) the amount they sold for originally new. Of course your mileage may vary, we have little personal experience with bottles since we only sold online, and of course shipping low cost/high weight items was not something we considered practical.
I understand they do much better as an impulse item in local flea markets/collectibles shops etc, and men's cologne bottles were among the more popular bottles.

Large Collection Acquired Thru Auction

Hello,
This is my first time here. I have a newly acquired large collection which I purchased thru an auction site. Most of the items had a tag on the bottom briefly describing what they were, but some didn't or have faded away. I am very interested in a name, year, and collector's price for them all. All of the items listed are for sale.

I would thank you very much for your help, and honesty!
